Ambassador benefits

Benefits of being an Ambassador

A big part of being an Ambassador is about helping with a team effort of raising our profile and improving our reputation, but there’s also some individual benefits that we can offer –

Networking and event opportunities

  • Become part of, and have access to, a positive network of business and community representatives, through regular events – the networking interactions at our events have led to considerable business development, through new leads and contacts being developed
  • Hear about new projects, developments and opportunities first, from those leading the area’s major developments, and senior figures across the region
  • Be invited to special Ambassador training and development events, offering improvements in how your organisation operates

Promoting your organisation

Ambassadors will be able to raise their profile through:

  • Circulation of your news stories via the dedicated place website, four social media channels, weekly ‘Friday Five’ campaign and monthly newsletter
  • Being featured on the ‘Our Ambassadors’ web page, with a link to your website or social media channel
  • Helping your google search ranking – having a backlink on our website will help with your domain authority
  • Social media – we have active profiles on four of the major platforms, and we can share your stories
  • Media opportunities both locally and regionally
  • Hosting meetings for fellow Ambassadors
  • Opportunity to speak at Ambassador events and feature in promotional campaigns
  • Send us video footage of your corporate videos to share on social media

Access to marketing materials

To help your organisation to ‘tell and sell’ the Redcar and Cleveland story, we have produced a range of tools for you to use, including:

  • The Redcar | Cleveland storybook which outlines our story and thinking as to how we will develop and promote the place
  • An image bank of high quality photography
  • A full design toolkit, including brand assets, so that you can use the new place brand alongside your corporate materials, where possible
