Networking & Speakers

We’re expecting up to 250 people attending, so this will provide excellent networking opportunities throughout the event.

To start the day, there’s Breakfast Networking. Then, during the main Showcase, you’ll have over two hours to catch up with your local ambassador colleagues and make new connections!

You’ll get to hear from some excellent speakers at the event. Our Place Board Chair, Angela Brockbank will launch the event; and we're delighted to say that the Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Councillor Stuart Smith will officially open the event.

We will have a great selection of speakers and a panel presentation covering the LIVE, ENJOY and BUSINESS themes of our place marketing work.

The speakers and panel presentation will cover:

Our Q&A panellists are:

Beth Smith - Assistant Curator, Tees Valley Arts / Blooming Youth Collective

Hayley Shields - Business Development Manager, Teesside International Airport

Jacob Young MP - MP for Redcar

Jason Faulkner - Principal, Redcar & Cleveland College

Joanna Andrews - Managing Director, Charm Productions UK

And, more speakers will be announced soon!!
