From cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development and telecommunications, the business grew exponentially and it all came to a head in 2020, when we regrouped under the brand \u2018Unity\u2019. Here, we were able to bridge the many silos of our business units so we could better serve our customers across multiple portfolios. Ever since, we\u2019ve been on our journey to equip businesses connected to their stakeholders with industry-leading technology under one roof.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>Can you tell me the best thing about your organisation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best thing about Unity is our expertise and diverse portfolio. Unity operates as a single company made up of different specialist business units that covers everything from fitting in your broadband, managing your day-to-day network infrastructure and IT or providing computer systems to streamline your business processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also own and operate our own data centre based in Longbeck Industrial Estate in Marske.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/redcarcleveland.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Peepul-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6001\" width=\"430\" height=\"286\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>What is the proudest achievement in your career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proudest moment of my career was being appointed as a Director in 2019, I couldn\u2019t have imagined that this would happen when I joined the business back in 2013 as an Apprentice Software Developer. Some people start out with that burning ambition to get to the top, but for me all I ever wanted to do was make the business successful and repay the faith that was put in me. Being named as a director was just a natural bi-product of the hard work I\u2019d been putting in to help the business grow.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/redcarcleveland.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/More-Cabling-2-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6005\" width=\"248\" height=\"330\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>What are you looking forward to in the next 12 months?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Growth, the business is set for a fantastic year ahead we\u2019ve got the structure right within the business now and we\u2019re looking to unify as many businesses as possible this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>What would you say is the best thing about Redcar and Cleveland?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever I\u2019m speaking to people from outside of the area I tell people about how it has everything within 10 minutes I can be on the beach, on the high street or walking on our beautiful countryside.
