Mobile App Development Workshop

21st April 2020 @ 9:30 am - 28th April 2020 @ 4:30 pm

Do you have an idea for an app to start a business but aren’t sure how to commercialise it?

OR

Are you already in the process of building an app for your business but need to validate it and develop an understanding about how to commission it?

Delivered over two days, this highly interactive workshop will equip you with the knowledge you need to take your initial concept through to the execution of a fully functional app.

Phil Veal, director of the digital media consultancy – Silbo, will guide you through the key stages of developing a mobile app. Through an expert overview you’ll find out the pros and cons of different building methods, the range of platforms available, central concepts and the criteria for what makes an app a success.

You’ll gain a better understanding on key topics including:

  • What constitutes a mobile application?
  • The principles behind device-specific functionality
  • The process of user interface design and why it is an essential part of the process
  • How apps are optimised for different devices

The workshop is FREE to eligible Tees Valley-based businesses. Places are limited and subject to eligibility, book early to avoid disappointment.
