Luke and Holly’s journey began in January 2019 when they contacted the Business Growth Team with an idea to open a personal fitness and sports therapy facility in Marske. With support from our Start-up Advisor - Ainsley Mullen they began to develop a business plan. Alongside this, Luke and Holly attended one of our Business Growth Surgery’s where they were made aware of the wider business support network available to them. Following appointments with the Council’s Place Investment Team and TEDCO – funding streams were identified and direct support provided to help with applications.

Our High Street Support Scheme funding helped to develop their premises on Marske High Street and funding from TEDCO helped to get the business started.

Through their own hard work and determination, Healthi, opened their doors in November 2019, offering personal and group fitness training classes and sports therapy sessions.

Luke and Holly have received a great welcome and support from the close-knit business community in Marske which is wonderful and it’s been great to be a part of their journey and see them achieve their goal.
