\u201cThe Tees Valley Combined Authority and our constituent Local Authorities are currently working with key local stakeholders to develop the Tees Valley Local Growth Plan (LGP).\u202f The LGP provides a 10-year strategic framework for inclusive regional growth, setting out its economic vision and identifying Tees Valley\u2019s sector strengths. \u202f\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Work undertaken on the LGP to date has resulted in five High-Level Local Growth Priorities being identified, including\u202fdiversifying and driving the growth of our foundational economy by increasing business density and developing the skills of our people to get more people into work.\u202f\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

The Combined Authority has appointed a team from Lichfields, a specialist planning and economic development consultancy, to lead a series of engagement events to discuss the range and type of potential interventions that could help unlock the opportunities presented by these Local Growth Priorities.<\/em><\/p>\n

You are invited to participate in the\u202fworkshop on\u202fThursday 9 October\u202fat Teesworks Skills Academy.\u202f It will be held between\u202f10:00 and 12:30, taking the form of a presentation followed by a series of structured discussion groups where you will have the chance to contribute to this priority area.\u202f”<\/em><\/p>\n
