DESCRIPTION:Once again Marske Community Partnership are organising their annual Christmas festival. This event brings out the spirit of Christmas in everyone throughout Marske. \nThe Pipers will be leading the parade and Santa will be at the back setting off at 6pm from Errington School. It will go down Windy Hill Lane around the roundabout and along Redcar Road finishing in the grounds of Marske Hall. If you want to see the Parade\, you need to line this route so get there early! \nSanta will be in his Grotto in The White House on Redcar Road 3.30pm till 5:30pm and 6:30pm till approx. 8.30pm. There will be a fantastic craft fair in Marske Leisure Centre from 3.30pm until 7:30pm where you will be able to get hot food\, drinks\, and mulled wine.

DESCRIPTION:Teesside’s Young Singers Join Forces for a Christmas Choral Celebration in Aid of Guisborough Bridge Association \nOn Sunday 30th November 2025\, three Teesside choirs will unite for a festive afternoon of choral music at St Paulinus RC Church\, Guisborough. The concert brings together the Tees Valley Youth Choir\, its Training Choir\, and the adult chamber ensemble Erimus Singers\, all performing in support of Guisborough Bridge Association\, a local charity providing vital community support across the town.\nAudiences will enjoy a rich programme of Christmas music including works by John Rutter\, Bob Chilcott\, and Benjamin Britten\, alongside contemporary seasonal favourites. With an intergenerational group of singers taking part across the choirs\, the event promises soaring harmonies\, traditional carols\, and uplifting Christmas spirit. \nTees Valley Youth Choir\, run by Tees Valley Music Service\, is the region’s flagship choir for young people aged 11–18\, supported by its feeder ensemble\, the Training Choir (ages 7–11). The Erimus Singers\, founded in 2018\, are known for their adventurous programming — performing challenging repertoire as well as much-loved choral classics. \nAll proceeds from the concert support Guisborough Bridge Association\, an independent charity established by Churches Together in Guisborough. DESCRIPTION:A Christmas in Saltburn\, The Beer & Carols Christmas Market comes to town! \nSaltburn’s musician\, Minister Keith\, brought beer and carols to Signals\, Saltburn last year and it was so successful that this year it’s going to be for the whole town! \n“We’ve been running Beer & Carols for over six years in the Midlands – they still ask us back every year – and now that we live here\, we wanted to get the town singing! It’s a family event and a great tradition at Christmas. Everyone can sing a carol\, whether you think you are musical or not! \nPeople see other people singing and think they can’t do it. But community singing\, whether in pubs or churches\, shanties on ships or for sport\, has been around for hundreds of years and allows everyone to take part. \nCarols have a way of getting people into the Christmas spirit and singing together in the centre of town only enhances that. Remember the film Elf? We are hoping that this becomes a Saltburn tradition.” \nThe day will include arts\, food\, a market which starts at 10am and of course great local beer. \n \n
