Baby buccaneers can crawl through the waves onto a sensory treasure island with opportunities to snuggle and hear tales of sea farers and shark infested waters. You can expect lots of different kinds of play to stretch your little ones’ imaginations and help them burn off some swashbuckling energy! \nPirate play session are in museum admission prices. \nPirates & Scallywags Show – Wednesday 25th February\nShows take place from 10am – 10.45am\, 11am – 11.45am and 1pm – 1.45pm\, with a session for children and families with additional needs at 2pm – 2.45pm. \nEver wanted to learn how to be a swash-buckling pirate and sail the seven seas? Pirates & Scallywags are here to help! With their fantastically fun show of comedy sketches\, games\, singing and dancing\, they’ll have you ready to fit right in with their pirate crew in no time. It will go down Windy Hill Lane around the roundabout and along Redcar Road finishing in the grounds of Marske Hall. If you want to see the Parade\, you need to line this route so get there early! \nSanta will be in his Grotto in The White House on Redcar Road 3.30pm till 5:30pm and 6:30pm till approx. 8.30pm. There will be a fantastic craft fair in Marske Leisure Centre from 3.30pm until 7:30pm where you will be able to get hot food\, drinks\, and mulled wine.

Follow the clues to the next location to see if you can solve the riddle or if you’re landed with a trick! \nAll locations are presented in windows of businesses who have joined us throughout Westgate and Chaloner Street. \nOnce you have finished\, head back to Guisborough Library to see if you have correctly cracked the code and obtain a small prize (whilst stocks last). \n📆 Trail maps will be available from Saturday 25th October up until Saturday 1st November. \n𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆!\nOnce you have completed your trail map\, you can also enter our special prize draw! All you need to enter the prize draw is your Library card. Not a member? No worries\, you can get signed up in no time. \n𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗧&𝗖𝘀:\n🖍 Trail is open to families. They will be celebrating the work of Redcar Lifeboat Station on their annual Lifeboat Day. \nThey aim to create a festival atmosphere with stalls and the emergency services as well as a lifeboat launch and demonstration at 3pm\, all to help raise awareness of their work as a volunteer RNLI crew. \nThe money raised will go directly towards helping Redcar RNLI continue their critical work along Redcar’s wonderful coastline\, river and beaches. This is your chance to help them with saving lives at sea.

It focusses on bringing to life many of the children’s ideas and stories with the help of three talented comedy improvisers – Chris Lumb (Russell Howard’s Good News)\, Natalie Smeaton (Britain’s Got Talent) and Phil Allan-Smith (BBC1: This is MY House).\nA big hit with festivals and schools up and down the country\, all the stories and ideas the kids (and adults) come up with will be created in front of your very eyes.\nThe children are the real stars of the show.
