SUMMARY:Redcar Lifeboat RNLI Flag Day 2025
DESCRIPTION:The local volunteer lifeboat crew will be in and around Redcar town centre and seafront on Saturday 23rd August 2025. They will be celebrating the work of Redcar Lifeboat Station on their annual Lifeboat Day. \nThey aim to create a festival atmosphere with stalls and the emergency services as well as a lifeboat launch and demonstration at 3pm\, all to help raise awareness of their work as a volunteer RNLI crew. \nThe money raised will go directly towards helping Redcar RNLI continue their critical work along Redcar’s wonderful coastline\, river and beaches. This is your chance to help them with saving lives at sea.

DESCRIPTION:🎃 Guisborough Halloween Reading Trail 🎃\nGrab a map from Guisborough Library and head out on your Spooktacular adventure! Follow the clues to the next location to see if you can solve the riddle or if you’re landed with a trick! \nAll locations are presented in windows of businesses who have joined us throughout Westgate and Chaloner Street. \nOnce you have finished\, head back to Guisborough Library to see if you have correctly cracked the code and obtain a small prize (whilst stocks last). \n📆 Trail maps will be available from Saturday 25th October up until Saturday 1st November. \n𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆!\nOnce you have completed your trail map\, you can also enter our special prize draw! All you need to enter the prize draw is your Library card. Not a member? No worries\, you can get signed up in no time. \n𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗧&𝗖𝘀:\n🖍 Trail is open to families. Giveaway prizes will be aimed at juniors (junior flat books).\n🖍 Giveaways available whilst stocks last. DESCRIPTION:Land of Iron takes to the road as it takes Mine on the Move to Guisborough – the ancient capital of Cleveland. \nWith an incredible history of its own\, Guisborough saw an increase in population when mines were opened near the market town. \nland of Iron will be bringing artefacts\, documents\, photographs and more to Guisborough Town Hall (in the old Shorty’s Gin premises) on Thursday 30th October\, and their family history experts will be on hand to help you track down information about your ancestors\, or maybe just who used to live in your house many years ago! \nEntry is free\, but please consider leaving a donation if you can spare it.
