SUMMARY:Exhibition: Marlene Barron and Graham Frank Wright
DESCRIPTION:You’re invited by Marlene Barron and\nGraham Frank Wright to their exhibition at The Heritage Gallery at Cargo Fleet. \nThe exhibition will be open with free admission\, 23rd March – 24th April\, Monday – Friday\, 8.30am – 2pm. \nThe official opening evening is on Thursday 26th March\, 5pm – 7pm. The opening offers a great opportunity to meet Marlene and Graham and ask any questions about the work on display. Drinks & nibbles will be provided by Iron Co Coffee House on behalf of Python Properties. \n“This collaborative exhibition will be an interesting mix of both Marlene’s and Graham’s artwork. \nMarlene – now 80 years young\, has had no formal training in art\, but has enjoyed painting and being creative for the last 20 years. She enjoys being expressive and is inspired by many different subjects\, which is reflected in her paintings. \nBorn in 1950\, Graham has led a fruitful life\, beginning his art journey at Hartlepool College of Art in 1966 and exhibiting in galleries from Los Angeles to Middlesbrough. \nGraham was met with an amazing opportunity to join the live music touring industry\, which enabled him to travel extensively around the world\, spending many years in Europe and the USA. He gained great knowledge and understanding of all genres – artistically\, musically and in all walks of life generally. And this gave him the great ability of having – ‘Freedom of Movement’. \nRetiring from the Rock Music industry in 2020\, Graham returned to his art and started painting and drawing full time. \nWe do hope you can make it to the opening and look forward to seeing you there!”
