Peer high up into the sky as six performers soar\, spin and fly through a heartwarming story of belonging\, adventure and home.\nHydro Punk – Artizani. Taps\, valves\, pipes\, pumps\, sprays\, and leaks come together to form a chaotic\, yet playful water machine full of games and puzzles.\nThe Ugly Bug Wingding – Enter Edem. A mesmerising jubilee for your eyes and ears! Enter a magical miniature world of enticing insects and colourful creatures on their way to an un-bee-lievable party!\nLuminarium – Architects of Air. A welcome return for this incredible light filled inflatable experience.\nJoin the party animals forest take over – with a silent woodland disco\, costumes to wear and a fabulous musical experience.\nDive into The Big Bubble Bash. DESCRIPTION:Redcar Kite Festival returns to the skies above Majuba Beach\, and there is so much going on! The tide times this year mean the kites will be in the sky from 12 noon to 6pm and\, with even more beach arenas\, the festival will be bigger than ever with even more kites in the sky flown by pilots from Northern Kite Group. Look out for: Giant inflatable kites including some larger-than-life cartoon characters Kite ballet to music Stunt kites Rainbow Deltas – chance for children to fly their own kites. There will be two days of free workshops in the Marquees-by-the-Sea including kite making workshops; fossils; rock pool schools; printmaking and more. The Stories by the Shore tent will celebrate the National Literary Trust’s Year of Reading with some exciting storytelling sessions with Lady Lemon Top\, Captain Plim and his fishy first mate Sole and many others.  And there will be some amazing walkabout performers and musicians including local favourites Whippet Up. The main BBC Tees music stage features a fantastic line up of local and regional talent and acoustic performers will also be performing on the bandstand. There are dozens of street food and drink stalls serving up everything from parmos to cheese toasties\, gourmet burgers to hog roast; wood-fired pizza to Vietnamese; fried chicken to Indian Street Food; Korean corndogs to crepes; craft beers to cocktails and loaded fries to gyozas and bao buns.  Many of these will also be at Majuba Street Market on the eve of Kite Festival. She enjoys being expressive and is inspired by many different subjects\, which is reflected in her paintings. \nBorn in 1950\, Graham has led a fruitful life\, beginning his art journey at Hartlepool College of Art in 1966 and exhibiting in galleries from Los Angeles to Middlesbrough. \nGraham was met with an amazing opportunity to join the live music touring industry\, which enabled him to travel extensively around the world\, spending many years in Europe and the USA. He gained great knowledge and understanding of all genres – artistically\, musically and in all walks of life generally. And this gave him the great ability of having – ‘Freedom of Movement’. \nRetiring from the Rock Music industry in 2020\, Graham returned to his art and started painting and drawing full time. \nWe do hope you can make it to the opening and look forward to seeing you there!”

This event brings out the spirit of Christmas in everyone throughout Marske. \nThe Pipers will be leading the parade and Santa will be at the back setting off at 6pm from Errington School. It will go down Windy Hill Lane around the roundabout and along Redcar Road finishing in the grounds of Marske Hall. If you want to see the Parade\, you need to line this route so get there early! \nSanta will be in his Grotto in The White House on Redcar Road 3.30pm till 5:30pm and 6:30pm till approx. 8.30pm. There will be a fantastic craft fair in Marske Leisure Centre from 3.30pm until 7:30pm where you will be able to get hot food\, drinks\, and mulled wine.

DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to the next exhibition at The Heritage Gallery at Cargo Fleet: Teesside Fringe \nThe exhibition will be open with free admission\, 8th September – 10th October 2025\, Monday – Friday\, 8.30am – 4.45pm. \nThe official opening evening is on Thursday 11th September\, 5pm – 7pm\, which offers a great opportunity to meet members of the artists and ask any questions you may have about the work on display. \n“Over 60 artists’ work will be on display in our first ‘Teesside Fringe’ exhibition\, so I think it’s safe to say that it will be a truly diverse and eclectic mix. \nA spin-off from the Middlesbrough Art Week\, this exhibition will run from 8th September until 10th October 2025\, covering the Middlesbrough Art Week\, which runs from 25th September until 4th October.”
