DESCRIPTION:🎃 Guisborough Halloween Reading Trail 🎃\nGrab a map from Guisborough Library and head out on your Spooktacular adventure! Follow the clues to the next location to see if you can solve the riddle or if you’re landed with a trick! \nAll locations are presented in windows of businesses who have joined us throughout Westgate and Chaloner Street. \nOnce you have finished\, head back to Guisborough Library to see if you have correctly cracked the code and obtain a small prize (whilst stocks last). \n📆 Trail maps will be available from Saturday 25th October up until Saturday 1st November. \n𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆!\nOnce you have completed your trail map\, you can also enter our special prize draw! All you need to enter the prize draw is your Library card. Not a member? No worries\, you can get signed up in no time. \n𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗧&𝗖𝘀:\n🖍 Trail is open to families. Giveaway prizes will be aimed at juniors (junior flat books).\n🖍 Giveaways available whilst stocks last. After this\, the trail will still be available with no giveaway.\n🖍 A library membership is needed to enter our prize draw. If your child isn’t a member\, you can sign them up in branch. The library will just need to see proof of name & address for parent/guardian.\n🖍 Participants are to follow the Highway Code when partaking in the trail and use appropriate road crossings.\n🖍 Children remain the responsibility of parents when participating in the trail.

DESCRIPTION:Become a paranormal investigator for the night here in Redcar and Cleveland as you explore Charltons Village Hall for Halloween! \nCreated in 1900 as a miners institute and bathhouse and later used for various activities despite a mysterious fire and the closure of the mines\, ghostly ballroom dancers have been seen in the halls with shuffling sounds\, moving objects and dark shadows in the former bathhouse. Using specialised equipment under the guidance of experienced paranormal investigators\, you’ll learn from their knowledge\, technique and experience in hunting for ghosts and spirits. \nSessions & Information\n7pm – 8.40pm offers a ‘little seekers’ session appropriate for ages 8+ with an adult\, £17 per person \nThe full session runs from 9pm – 1.30am and is suitable for 16+ year olds with adult supervision\, £50 per person. \n\nFeel free to bring along any of your own equipment including torches\, cameras or video cameras.\nBring extra clothing as in some parts old buildings may get cold but please refrain from wearing clothing that can cause distracting sounds.\nThere will be breaks and light refreshments are provided.\nLimited spaces available\, booking required\n\n“Many old buildings have a story to tell and we will supply them to you along with of course the ghost stories. Spirit Seekers has been going since 2009. We are not here to try and convince the world of the existence of an afterlife. That’s for you to decide. We can be Sceptical and logical yet open to other beliefs and prayers of protection will be carried out. We do not perform tricks and will not be running around with sheets on our heads. You will be with like minded people looking for the answer ‘is there really an afterlife?’ \nHowever much we try unfortunately we can’t guarantee that members of the spirit world will make their presence known but we can at least guarantee that you will experience a fun and interesting night. The experience is intended to be a lower cost evening than your average night out and one way or the other it will most likely be a night that you will never forget.”
