SUMMARY:Marske Christmas Festival and Parade
DESCRIPTION:Once again Marske Community Partnership are organising their annual Christmas festival. This event brings out the spirit of Christmas in everyone throughout Marske. \nThe Pipers will be leading the parade and Santa will be at the back setting off at 6pm from Errington School. It will go down Windy Hill Lane around the roundabout and along Redcar Road finishing in the grounds of Marske Hall. If you want to see the Parade\, you need to line this route so get there early! \nSanta will be in his Grotto in The White House on Redcar Road 3.30pm till 5:30pm and 6:30pm till approx. 8.30pm. There will be a fantastic craft fair in Marske Leisure Centre from 3.30pm until 7:30pm where you will be able to get hot food\, drinks\, and mulled wine.

DESCRIPTION:The Loftus Poultry Run (which involves humans\, not chickens!) has been held just before Christmas for over 38 years\, and now makes its return for 2025! A multi-terrain event approx. 7 miles along country lanes\, bridleways and footpaths\, it has built a reputation as one of the friendliest and most fun events on the North East racing calendar with costumes\, a brass band and lots of camaraderie. \nWho knows\, with some generous prizes of Christmas fayre – including the eponymous poultry – it could be a handy way to stock your larder! \nTo sign up\, click here. \nMaximum entries 400 \nRace Start time is 11am \nRegistration opens at 9:30 at Loftus Leisure Centre (TS13 4RS). \nRace numbers will be issued at Registration on the day.
