Take a look at what’s in store below: \nPirate Play – Tuesday 24th February – Sunday 31st May\n11am – 3pm each day \nHullabaloo Theatre’s Pirate Play has landed at Kirkleatham Museum and is ready to delight audiences! Expect swashbuckling fun and plenty of adventure for everyone aged 0-7 and their grown up shipmates to enjoy. \nDon your eye patch and pirate hat and get stuck into pirate play with cannons to load\, sails to hoist and pans to rattle in the gallery kitchen! Baby buccaneers can crawl through the waves onto a sensory treasure island with opportunities to snuggle and hear tales of sea farers and shark infested waters. You can expect lots of different kinds of play to stretch your little ones’ imaginations and help them burn off some swashbuckling energy! \nPirate play session are in museum admission prices. \nPirates & Scallywags Show – Wednesday 25th February\nShows take place from 10am – 10.45am\, 11am – 11.45am and 1pm – 1.45pm\, with a session for children and families with additional needs at 2pm – 2.45pm. \nEver wanted to learn how to be a swash-buckling pirate and sail the seven seas? Pirates & Scallywags are here to help! With their fantastically fun show of comedy sketches\, games\, singing and dancing\, they’ll have you ready to fit right in with their pirate crew in no time. And that’s not all – there will be costumes for the little ones to try on in front of a deserted island back drop which makes for a perfect photo opportunity to remember the day by. \nTickets are needed for children only\, and can be booked here. \nCrafts @ Kirkleatham – Tuesday 24th and Thursday 26th \nFebruary\n\nShow your creative side with a series of pirate themed arts and crafts \n10am – 3pm each day\, with a quiet hour for children and families with additional needs from 3pm – 4pm. \nPlease note that there is a small charge for each of the crafts ranging from £1.50 – £3.50 \nPirate Adventure Trail – Tuesday 24th February – Sunday 1st March\nA series of pirate themed images have been hidden all around the museum for you to discover – can you find them all? \nThe trail is included in museum admission prices. \nLooking to make a day trip out of your visit this February half-term? DESCRIPTION:You’re invited by Marlene Barron and\nGraham Frank Wright to their exhibition at The Heritage Gallery at Cargo Fleet. \nThe exhibition will be open with free admission\, 23rd March – 24th April\, Monday – Friday\, 8.30am – 2pm. \nThe official opening evening is on Thursday 26th March\, 5pm – 7pm. The opening offers a great opportunity to meet Marlene and Graham and ask any questions about the work on display. Drinks & nibbles will be provided by Iron Co Coffee House on behalf of Python Properties. \n“This collaborative exhibition will be an interesting mix of both Marlene’s and Graham’s artwork. \nMarlene – now 80 years young\, has had no formal training in art\, but has enjoyed painting and being creative for the last 20 years. She enjoys being expressive and is inspired by many different subjects\, which is reflected in her paintings. \nBorn in 1950\, Graham has led a fruitful life\, beginning his art journey at Hartlepool College of Art in 1966 and exhibiting in galleries from Los Angeles to Middlesbrough. \nGraham was met with an amazing opportunity to join the live music touring industry\, which enabled him to travel extensively around the world\, spending many years in Europe and the USA. He gained great knowledge and understanding of all genres – artistically\, musically and in all walks of life generally. And this gave him the great ability of having – ‘Freedom of Movement’. \nRetiring from the Rock Music industry in 2020\, Graham returned to his art and started painting and drawing full time. \nWe do hope you can make it to the opening and look forward to seeing you there!”

The band features Kev Marlow on lead vocals and guitar\, Dion Marlow on double bass and are joined by Dan Whitwell on drums and backing vocals. \nRockin’em deliver a dynamic and diverse performance that feature original songs and rare ’50s gems in their own style. They switch genres from Doo Wop to Rockabilly to Jive and Swing and much more\, keeping the audience on their toes! They also showcase their individual talents and charisma\, creating a memorable stage show that stands out from the crowd. \nThe band have released multiple albums\, appeared on BBC and independent radio shows.
