Between the Tides, Redcar & Cleveland’s flagship festival for children, young people and families returns to the streets of Redcar on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August.
A free weekend of adventure and exploration for children and their grown-ups, the festival will transform the town into an exciting spectacle of theatre, puppetry, circus, dance, storytelling and live music in a creative celebration of Redcar’s coastal location.
Redcar will welcome a colourful cast of characters with pop up performances from nationally renowned outdoor arts companies. Highlights include:
We’re also delighted to welcome back Architects of Air with another incredible Luminarium installation in the grounds of Kirkleatham Museum. This will be a different structure than last year’s so visitors will be welcome to return for another amazing wander through a magical labyrinth of saturated light tunnels.
