Between the Tides

Between the Tides Festival

Welcome to Between the Tides, a brand-new free festival of adventure and exploration, imagination and messiness for children, young people and families of Redcar & Cleveland and beyond.

Taking place across Redcar Town Centre on Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 August, immerse yourself in a cast of colourful characters and pop-up performances. Look out for friendly giants and petulant princesses, nice nose admirers and proud sea captains as our town explodes into a fantastic spectacle of creativity, where fairy tales become reality and your wildest dreams take shape right here on our streets!

Between the Tides is free and it’s accessible to everyone so come along and get stuck in.

Get creative with one of our free workshops, make a collective clay creation or a sea-crown! Help our storytellers weave playful tales of wonder and discovery! Learn how to make a puppet laugh and a monster cry!

There’s nothing better than getting involved, taking part and making memories. And where better to do it than Redcar? We can’t wait for you to experience our shiny new festival!

Finally, if you attend or have attended any aspect of Between the Tides, we would really value your thoughts and feedback by completing this quick survey. At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win 1 prize of £250 in vouchers to spend on a day out in Redcar.
