Guisborough Christmas Festival: A Magical Evening Awaits!
Join the Guisborough Christmas Festival on Sunday 3rd December at 4pm, for an unforgettable festive experience. Enjoy Santa's parade with reindeer, live music, children's rides, and much more. Don't miss Santa's Grotto at Sunnyfield House - tickets are £3 (call 01287 634595)
Before the parade, kids can unleash their creativity with free Christmas crafts at Guisborough Library! Make your own light-up lanterns and streamer wands from 3pm to 5:30pm, while supplies last.
Shops, cafes, and restaurants will also stay open late, so mark your calendar and bring the whole family for a night of holiday magic!
A Festive Evening at Ormesby Hall
Celebrate the Christmas season with a magical evening at Ormesby Hall on the 6th and 7th December from 5pm to 8pm. This special late-night opening offers the perfect opportunity to embrace the festive spirit in a charming historic setting.
What to Expect:
Festive Music: Enjoy the sounds of the season as you explore the grounds.
Food and Drink Stalls: Warm up by the firepit with delicious treats and festive drinks available for purchase.

Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park’s very popular willow wreath making workshops are returning.
Each session is 2 hours long, with the first hour focused on making the wreath and the second hour to decorate it in a fun and relaxed atmosphere – the perfect start to your Christmas activities. Everything you need is supplied, but you can bring your own items to decorate with if you prefer.
Sessions are on Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th, Saturday 14th, Sunday 15th December at various times for all sessions:

Join us for a magical day at the Saltburn Ice Trail! Experience 9 stunning ice sculptures by renowned artists Sand in your Eye, all themed around beloved pantomimes and displayed throughout the town. Families can also visit the ice post box, where elves will help you to write and post your letter to Santa! Don't miss the chance for photos with Cinderella and Prince Charming, and explore the Christmas market with crafts, treats, and live music from the Saltburn Smugglers.
Meet Father Christmas at Kirkleatham 7th & 8th December!
Get ready for a festive experience like no other at Kirkleatham Museum and Grounds on 7th & 8th December. From 10am to 3pm, bring your little ones to meet Father Christmas in his magical grotto. Each child will receive a special gift to take home, making this a truly memorable experience.
For families who prefer a quieter, more relaxed visit, relaxed sessions will be held from 4:30pm until 6:30pm, providing a calm environment for those with additional needs.
