There's so much to see and do in Redcar and Cleveland this Christmas Season! Here's a few of our holiday highlights aimed at families and friends alike for those looking to brighten their visit to the area with some festive cheer.

Wrap up warm for a one-day-only icy adventure as the Saltburn Ice Trail returns for 2025! Renowned ice sculptors Sand In Your Eye bring their own touch of winter magic to the town of Saltburn with a series of arctic safari-themed ice sculptures for families to discover as they explore using their very own trail maps.
There are prizes to be won for completing the trail, a Pocket Money & Stocking Filler Market, festive crafts, games and activities, lively street entertainment and a workshop featuring an ice post box, where elves will help children write and post their letters to Santa. Don't miss out on the fun - stop by for a chance to see these enchanting ice sculptures before they melt away!

Looking to get your hands busy? Why not flex your creative muscles with craft workshops at Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park!
Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of December brings the return of the popular willow wreath making workshops for a fun and relaxed way to kick off the festive season and add a personal touch to your very own Christmas décor! Treat yourself or come along with friends and family to this two hour long workshop, where you'll spend the first hour making your wreath and the second hour decorating it with either the supplied equipment or your own if you'd like!
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of December are the perfect days to come along with the littles ones for an hour of fun and festive crafts, juice, biscuits and a small gift for every child to enjoy. Ormesby hall gets dressed up in stunning winter style for the holidays and its own festive events!
Taking place every Friday - Monday from Friday 28th November – Monday 22nd December is A Fairytale Christmas at Ormesby Hall, where the rooms are adorned with sparkling lights and fantastical decorations for your very own fairytale adventure! Venture into the Snow Queen’s realm, dress for Cinderella’s ball, make a Christmas wish with a genie and more - a perfect event to enjoy with the little ones and make Christmas memories which will last a lifetime.
What's more, on Friday 5th and 12th December there's a rare chance to come along and see the hall decorated at night! Experience a cosy winter’s evening full of festive music, and food and drink stalls to enjoy by the fire pit at the perfect seasonal setting to fill your heart with holiday cheer.

Step into a Christmas of times long-gone on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of December as Kirkleatham Museum transforms for a magical weekend of festive fun! Enjoy twinkling lights, festive music, craft stalls, and plenty of seasonal treats. It’s the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season with family and friends! Father Christmas will be making a stop at his cosy grotto to hear everyone's Christmas wishes and has a special gift for each child who visits him. Kirkleatham Walled Garden provides a spectacularly decorated winter-themed setting for the perfect Christmas party night! Whether you're celebrating with friends, family or colleagues you're sure to find yourself having the time of your life as you dine from a decadent three-course menu, sing your heart out and dance the night away!

Gisborough Hall's Christmas Party Nights are perfect for those looking to treat themselves, friends and family to a night of luxurious dining and dancing to get into the Christmas spirit!
