In line with government guidance the visitor centre, including toilet facilities are closed. The park itself remains open for you to enjoy.
With a FREE carpark we are the perfect place to explore, play and relax in the countryside packed with woodland walks, panoramic views, sculpture trail, adventure play area, trim trail, arboretum, pond platforms and more!
All refreshments, hot and cold, can be purchased from outside at our new service hatch on a take-out basis only.
Unfortunately Flatts Lane and Guisborough Forest Visitor Centres are unable to sell Christmas Trees this year.
Car park and general access is FREE and open 24/7.
We endeavour to have the visitor centre open as much as we can, but opening times do vary. Feel free to get in touch if you want to plan a visit. Contact details below.
Cyclists and horse riders are very welcome, but are required to keep to the marked bridleways (and off the footpaths and woodland trails).
All motor powered vehicles, including off road bikes and quads, are strictly prohibited over the entirety of the site and will be reported to the police and vehicles potentially seized.
No camping, BBQs or fires are permitted at any time.
The car park is located off Flatts Lane that runs between Normanby and the A171 Guisborough Road. Brown tourist signs are located in Normanby and on the A171 directing people to the park. Access on foot is possible from Normanby, Eston, Ormesby, Spencerbeck and Nunthorpe.
Admission to the site is free. Some events throughout the year will be subject to an admission fee, please see the ‘What’s on’ section for events and admission costs.
