Guisborough Forest and Walkway

Welcome to Guisborough Forest and Walkway

Guisborough Forest and Walkway provides the ideal starting point for a visit to Guisborough Forest and is the gateway to the North York Moors National Park.  For the active visitor, cycle trails, walking routes, bridleways, a trim trail and orienteering trails start at the site before extending into the forest. Young visitors can enjoy the play area or pond dipping before enjoying a picnic at one of the many picnic areas. The Sculpture Trail is great for less active visitors following a route of chainsaw carvings into the forest. The Guisborough Forest & Walkway Visitors Centre* sells local guide maps and is the starting point for many events organised by the local rangers. There is a railway carriage available to hire, ideal for meetings and birthday parties. Please contact the Visitor Centre for availability and prices.
