Tour de Yorkshire 2020

The Tour de Yorkshire is coming to Redcar and Cleveland. Redcar is the host town for the finish of Stage One of this year's event on Thursday, 30 April.

Roadshows

Residents, businesses and community groups have attended a series of Tour de Yorkshire roadshows in Redcar and Cleveland, finding out about what is happening in our local area and across the region during the Tour. Roadshows have taken place in Brotton, Loftus, Redcar and Saltburn.

The route

Stage One sees the cyclists depart from Beverley and head for the coast. The race travels through North Yorkshire seaside locations including Filey and Whitby before entering Redcar and Cleveland.

Our stage of the race, which is expected in mid-late afternoon, will see crowds welcome the riders as they speed through Easington, Loftus, Carlin How, Brotton, Saltburn and Marske before a sprint finish along the Stray to the finishing line outside Zetland Park in Redcar.

How to get involved

Redcar | Cleveland Ambassadors hoping to play their part in a fantastic day for our area can register their interest in volunteering now.

There's no commitment at this stage - Redcar and Cleveland Council is simply inviting people to register their interest. Email: tourdeyorkshire@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk
