Another Winter\u2019s Tale, from the award-winning company, Dogwood Productions CIC, will be touring villages and small towns in Yorkshire, and Cleveland and Redcar in November and is at Saltburn Community and Arts Association on Wednesday 15th November at 19.30. Produced especially for the winter months, the show is rich in original live music and puppetry, with humour, songs and an enthralling story. It includes shadow puppets, hand puppets, marionettes and a Kamishibai, a traditional Japanese street theatre. Though it is suitable for children above 8 years old, don\u2019t be fooled by the idea of puppetry. It is above all, a ghost story.<\/p>\n

The show draws upon tales of deepest winter from the frozen North, across Europe and Asia to Japan and much nearer to home. The stories could not be more diverse: from the joyful to the dark, the new and the familiar, all performed by the company of travelling strangers. It\u2019s also a celebration of seasonal songs, including the show\u2019s own composition, which was released to raise funds for the Crisis at Christmas charity.<\/p>\n
