?️ Behind the Scenes is with the awesome Redcar based @bettyleighboutique.
Vicky is the amazing lady behind this boutique business which launched in November 2016 and is named in memory of her nana Betty and her brother-in-law Lee.
Having worked in retail at a young age before pursuing a career in SEN education, Vicky found her way back to the “shop floor” & returned to retail in 2011.
Loving all elements of the fashion industry - buying trips, brand searching, assisting the customers & offering styling advice. Vicky was always keen to provide a first class personal, social & sensory shopping service, within a boutique that stocked garments hand picked by herself from reputable, quality, luxury brands and labels that she loved. It was this vision that led to BLB opening.
? Roll forward 4 & a half years and BLB has a loyal customer base & has expanded to a team of 3, the business employs 2 fantastic team members that have a wealth of knowledge & experience within the industry.
Not only is Vicky super passionate about her own business, she is a huge advocate of small businesses supporting each other, ‘it’s not about competition and rivalry, but a collective, mutually beneficial approach, making Redcar a better place for residents and visitors.’
? Vicky also finds time to raise money for @redcarandclevelandmind
and supports research into Neuromyelitis Optica. Back in 2019 Vicky’s hard work was recognised, when she was the winner of the Women in Business category at the Inspiring Women Awards.
⭐ With brand new spring summer stock, that has arrived just in time for opening! Vicky and the team are hugely excited to welcome customers back through the boutiques doors, “we’re excited to see customers, to chat to them, to assist them & to see them try on!!”
⭐ The boutique will reopen tomorrow (Tuesday 13th April) & will resume to the hours of Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm.
⭐ As of Monday the 19th BLB are adding in additional in store shopping hours & are opening Mondays 10am - 1:30pm. So there will be 6 shopping days at the boutique!
