SPEAKERS

You’ll get to hear from some excellent speakers at the event. Our Place Board Chair, Angela Brockbank will launch the event; and we’re delighted to say that the Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Councillor Stuart Smith will officially open the event.

We will have a great selection of speakers and a panel discussion covering the LIVE, ENJOY and BUSINESS themes of our place marketing work.

We’re very pleased to be joined by two excellent keynote speakers:

  • David Jack from SeAH Wind – David will be talking about SeAH’s £300m investment in Redcar and Cleveland, at the Teesworks site.
  • Geoff Greaves, MD of Merlin Cinemas – Geoff will be talking about Merlin’s exciting plans for The Regent cinema, Redcar.

PANEL DISCUSSION

We will then have a great selection of speakers on our panel discussion covering the LIVE, ENJOY and BUSINESS themes of our place marketing work. Our Q&A panellists are:

NETWORKING

We’re expecting up to 200 people attending, so this will provide excellent networking opportunities throughout the event. 

To start the day, there’s Breakfast Networking. Then, during the main Showcase, you’ll have over two hours to catch up with your local ambassador colleagues and make new connections!
