Britain’s leading cycle race is coming to Redcar and Cleveland!

On Wednesday 7 September, we are super excited to announce that the Tour of Britain 2022 will commence its Stage 4 leg in Redcar!

Pro cyclists, including Olympic, World and Tour de France cyclists, will be battling it out for 152km through several of our towns and villages, before heading off towards North Yorkshire.

There will be plenty of community activities going on in the build-up to the race and on race day itself, such as best dressed high street competitions, land art and more!

The event will be televised around the world, and we can't wait to show off what a beautiful corner of it we live in! Keep your eyes peeled for more details as and when we have them.
