Maintaining the safety of everyone in Redcar and Cleveland is our top priority and we are urging everyone to follow Government guidelines and take steps to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

As of Monday 1st June, the following car parks will reopen:

Pay and Display charges will also resume and the Council is encouraging people wherever possible to use the RingGo app, rather than cash at the machines to prevent the spread of Covid-19. You can find the Ring Go app on the Apple and Google App stores by searching for ‘Ring Go Parking’. If you don’t want to download the app you can call 0203 432 4302 and give the location number displayed on parking signs in the car park itself.

All council-owned public toilets will also reopen 9am till 4pm with additional signage to ensure people follow strict social distancing rules, and regular cleaning regimes and inspections will be carried out.

We know how much our coastline and countryside mean to our residents, but the pandemic is not yet over. Please be considerate of others and keep your distance. We would encourage people to use the car parks to make daily exercise a more pleasurable experience but not to stay too long.
