STEEL STORIES AMBASSADOR EVENT – KIRKLEATHAM MUSEUM, TUESDAY 3 DECEMBER – 5pm to 7pm

Frans Calje, Chair of the Redcar | Cleveland Place Board is pleased to invite you to the re-scheduled ‘Steel Stories’ special Ambassador event. In a departure from our usual arrangements, this is an evening event.

The event will run as follows:

Buffet and networking, from 5pm

Short speeches from people closely connected to the exhibition and our steel making heritage

  • Leo Croft, Steel Stories Project Officer will talk about how the project was put together and its challenges and rewards
  • Dr Joan Heggie, Teesside University and Mike Guess, former steel worker will talk about the exhibition research and what life was like in the steel industry in Redcar

Guided tour of the fascinating Steel Stories exhibition and an opportunity for further networking.
