10th May 2021 – Newley’s Custom Creations

⭐️ N E W N E S S ⭐️

Get personal! BTS this week is with @newleyscustomcreations owned by the lovely Lisa, who has kindly told her story.

Lisa’s Story

Unfortunately I was made redundant because of Covid 19 in August last year so I thought if there’s ever a time to go for it, it’s now!

I’m an absolute craft geek, I love doing anything to do with crafts, so it was an easy decision for me to make that my job. We’d recently had a garden room built at home which I’ve now stolen as my workspace and I love being in there doing what I love and still being at home with my family.

That’s the thing I love most about running my own business. I can do the school runs myself for my youngest son, if he needs me for anything when he’s home or he wants to play something, I can work around it all and I’m really grateful for that.

I love buying personalised gifts for family and friends, they show you’ve put thought into your gift and that’s what I want to be able to provide for my customers for their friends and loved ones.

Being a Mam of 3 children myself, I also love anything for children that stands out from the crowd which is why I also started stocking children’s wear to add initials or names to. It doesn’t even have to be their name, it can be something that describes their character or something that they enjoy doing.

When buying any product from me, customers can trust that, because I love giving these kinds of gifts myself, I will always go the extra mile to make it something special and unique. I love receiving messages from customers asking for something out of the ordinary and being able to create that for them. With every product, I always send the design out to customers prior to making it, so that they have a chance to make any changes or add anything else to it.’
