14th July 2021 – The Prickly Pear

? Calling all parmo lovers, 35 different parmos!

@the_prickly_pear_bistro is the place for you, if like me, you LOVE a good parmo!

I was buzzing to return to this great restaurant, having first visited some time ago. ?

But what to order? It was a no-brainer, I was definitely ordering a parmo, despite it being a Sunday and the Sunday dinners looking UNREAL!

But I’m a Teesider aren’t I, so PARMO it had to be.

?? I chose the MEZE which is a chicken parmo decorated with Parma ham, red peppers, pesto, halloumi and herbs. I would definitely recommend it.

? Not sure how, but I did manage to find room for a pudding! Polishing off the chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream and yes, it was every bit delicious as it sounds.

?‍♀️ This was my first outing with The Tees Valley Foodie Girl Gang (FGG for short) who are @whatkatesate@thenorthernist and @theteessidefoodie we had such a laugh, what a great bunch! These girls insta pages are mouthwatering, full of the most delicious places to eat throughout the whole of the Tees Valley – Go and give them a follow!

If you’re looking for a large choice of great quality parmos, or indeed a beautiful Sunday roast and stunning desserts all teamed with great value. I cannot recommend this place enough!
