After months of painstaking conservation works the world’s oldest lifeboat, the Zetland, has returned home to Redcar.
Kept safe in the Zetland Life Boat Museum in Redcar by committed volunteers, The Zetland was built in 1802 and saved 500 lives.
She was welcomed by by the Marske Fisherman’s Choir as well as speeches by Lord Zetland and the chair of Zetland Life Boat Museum.
