Coffee and Connect

Coffee and Connect – networking, informal speakers, and great coffee; in cafes, coffee shops and other unique venues across Redcar and Cleveland!

Working with the Council’s Business team, these events take place every other month, and are hosted at cafes, coffee shops and other cosy venues right across Redcar and Cleveland!

‘Coffee and Connect’ events are exclusively for Redcar | Cleveland Ambassadors, and are limited in terms of attendee numbers, due to the smaller sized venues we visit.

The events are short and sweet, lasting around an hour, and provide a great opportunity to:

• network informally with fellow ambassadors, to make new connections and leads

• problem solve and share good practice, around key topical issues

• hear from speakers in ‘unplugged’ style – there’s no ‘power points’ or mics!

• support and increase awareness of our local cafes, coffee shops and other unique venues

Our regular quarterly Ambassador events are proving increasingly popular. Our last two events, the ‘Ambassador Showcase’ and ‘Place video launch at The Regent’, were both fully booked, so, these Coffee and Connect events provide additional networking opportunities, which ambassadors have told us they value so much.

To date, we have visited the following places and venues on our Coffee and Connect ‘tour’!

REDCAR – Daisy Mae’s Vintage Tearoom

GUISBOROUGH – Koselig Bakeri

SALTBURN – Signals

MARSKE – Gilbey’s

REDCAR – House of Foliage

LOFTUS – Duncan Place / Library

Do you want to attend Coffee and Connect events? as mentioned above, these are ‘ambassador exclusive’ events, so if you’re not already then please sign up as an ambassador HERE (it takes just a few minutes!) and you’ll get on the invite list!

Please note, places are limited for these events, on a ‘first come first served basis’; and will be limited to one ticket per ambassador.

A tea, coffee, or other hot drink will be provided for each attendee.

Further details on the event content / theme will be announced before each event.
