Celebrating Summer at Kirkleatham Museum

5th August 2023 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Come along and enjoy summer at Kirkleatham Museum with lots of fun attractions for the whole family!

Our brand new traders will be joined by young performers from Tuned In! throughout the weekend, enjoy a medley of songs as we celebrate and showcase the depth of talent we have here in Redcar and Cleveland.

Tuned In! 2 Music is a place for young people to play, grow and thrive through music. The session for 11-18 year olds engages young people in a variety of music making activities including songwriting, band mentoring, 1-1 instrument tuition and performance techniques.

Young people also have the opportunity to participate in end of session showcases to gain confidence by performing in front of their peers as well as participating in local community events and festivals.

  • Enjoy live music by local performers
  • Support SIX brand new local traders
  • Experience our amazing Lemon Tops & Lobster Pots exhibition
  • Explore our seaside & woodland trails
  • Get creative with arts and crafts
  • Visit the beautiful museum grounds with an onsite café and play park
