The Spiral Shore

September 27 - September 28

Free

Spiral Shore, a fire installation will appear on Saltburn beach as a gift to the community at 9pm on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th September. Make a wish on a spiral shore for all the ships that come and go, all the souls that land and leave, and all those sailing on distant horizons.

Periplum’s Spiral Shore is a meditative reflection. It can be viewed from Marine Parade, where there will be an accompanying soundtrack.

This event is free and unticketed.

Periplum’s North Sea Sirens is funded by Arts Council England’s National Lottery Grants for the Arts and is commissioned by Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council. Additional funding from Tees Valley Combined Authority has supported local creatives to take part in Periplum’s Creating Outdoors training programme, leading to paid employment in the production.

This is one of two free outdoor events on  by internationally renowned outdoor arts company Periplum.
