Between the Tides Festival

August 24 @ 11:00 am - August 25 @ 5:00 pm

Between the Tides, Redcar & Cleveland’s flagship festival for children, young people and families returns to the streets of Redcar on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August.

A free weekend of adventure and exploration for children and their grown-ups, the festival will transform the town into an exciting spectacle of theatre, puppetry, circus, dance, storytelling and live music.

Redcar will welcome a colourful cast of characters with pop up performances from nationally renowned outdoor arts companies.

We’re also delighted to welcome back Architects of Air with another incredible Luminarium installation in the grounds of Kirkleatham Museum.  This will be a different structure to last year so visitors will be welcome to return for another amazing wander through a magical labyrinth of saturated light tunnels.

Between the Tides is free and accessible to all so grab your grown ups and get stuck in!
