The first of four concerts to celebrate the Centenary of the consecration of St Mary’s Church Nunthorpe. Harry Brown, currently an organ scholar at Birmingham Cathedral, will be putting the church’s Makin Organs Windermere 3 organ through its paces. Installed during the Covid lockdown in 2020, having been donated to the church in memory of the late Rev’d Judy Cook , assistant curate in the parish, the organ has yet to be put through it paces to demonstrate its versatility and quality of sound. We expect Harry to enthral with his playing in the beautiful surroundings of St Mary’s, with its fabulous view of Roseberry Topping and the Cleveland Hills.
