Comedy Night at Kirkleatham Walled Garden

Kirkleatham Walled Garden welcomes you to a night of comedy performances featuring 4 top comedians for just £15 a ticket, all held inside the walled garden’s beautiful pavilion!

Doors open 7.15pm – Show time is 8pm.

Bar serving a fine selection of bottled beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks all evening.

Headline Act – Ian Stone

Ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent, Ian Stone is one of the most talented topical acts and comperes in the country. Edgy and provocative, with an easy-going manner and self-depreciating style, Ian is at great ease bantering with an audience.

He received a nomination in 2012 for the BEST SHOW at the Leicester Comedy Festival. His Edinburgh festival show in 2022 Righter of Wrongs played to sold out audiences for the entire run and his 2023 show Ian Stone Will Make it Better won a Spirit of the Fringe award. His show in 2024 Ian Stone is Keeping it Together was on the long list of nominations for the Jones The Bootmakers Comedy award. He then took the show on tour playing to packed out audiences around the country including a sold out one man show at London’s world famous Comedy Store

From 2013 to 2024, Ian presented Off The Ball a weekly comedy football panel show. First on ESPN and then as The Football’s On from 2014 on BTSport and then TNT Sport. On FA Cup Final Day in 2013, he presented a version of the show as part of ESPN’s coverage from Wembley Stadium. The guest list reads like a who’s who of the nations favourite comedy talent and included Alan Davies, Dara OBriain, Lee Mack, Omid Djalili, Ardal OHanlon, Phil Jupitus and Milton Jones, Frankie Boyle, Mickey Flanagan, David Baddiel, Romesh Ranganathan, Omid Djalili and Sean Lock.

Ian has also appeared on The Stand Up Show (BBC1), Mock The Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC2), The Comedy Store (C5) and The 11 O’Clock show (C4)
