Kirkleatham Museum has plenty of family friendly activities to enjoy this Easter half-term. Come along for crafts, trails, dinosaur discoveries and a ton of roar-some fun!

Dinosaur Discovery Days are stomping into Kirkleatham Museum!

Calling all fearless fossil hunters, dino-spotters, and prehistoric explorers – Mr Bones is back and he’s bringing the Cretaceous period with him!

Join us for an unmissable drop-in discovery days,  packed with hands-on fun and real science. Get closer than ever before to creatures that ruled the land and sea millions of years ago.

What awaits you:

  • T. rex Discovery – Stand in the shadow of a life-sized Tyrannosaurus rex skull and uncover the secrets of the ultimate predator.
  • Fossil Handling Station – Touch, feel, and examine real fossils millions of years old. Ask questions and channel your inner palaeontologist.
  • Monsters of the Deep Demonstrations – Dive into prehistoric oceans and meet the terrifying creatures that lurked beneath – think giant jaws, razor teeth, and tales to make you shiver!

Perfect for families, dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages, and anyone who has ever dreamt of getting closer to the prehistoric world.

No need to book—just drop in and let the adventure begin!  Exhibition entrance fee is included with your museum ticket.

Get crafty this Easter holidays with Easter and Dinosaur themed crafts – plus, there a fantastic opportunity to explore the museum and grounds with an Easter trail!
