Land of Iron – Mine on the Move

October 30 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

Land of Iron takes to the road as it takes Mine on the Move to Guisborough – the ancient capital of Cleveland.

With an incredible history of its own, Guisborough saw an increase in population when mines were opened near the market town.

land of Iron will be bringing artefacts, documents, photographs and more to Guisborough Town Hall (in the old Shorty’s Gin premises) on Thursday 30th October, and their family history experts will be on hand to help you track down information about your ancestors, or maybe just who used to live in your house many years ago!

Entry is free, but please consider leaving a donation if you can spare it.
