The King’s Coronation Celebrations

Come together to celebrate the Coronation of The King and the Queen Consort, a truly momentous day.

To mark this historic occasion a big screen located on Redcar High Street (near to the main clock) will be steaming the celebratory ceremony live from Westminster, starting at 10.30am.

Following on from the Coronation ceremony 2 Best of British family films will be shown.

2.15pm Paddington (PG – 1hr 35min)

A young Peruvian bear travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he meets the kindly Brown family, who offer him a temporary haven.

A truly royal favourite!!

3.45pm – The Pirates! (PG – 1hr 28min)

Follow Pirate Captain as he sets out on a mission to defeat his rivals Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz for the Pirate of the year Award. The quest takes Captain and his crew from the shores of Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London.

Whilst we are hoping for glorious sunshine please come prepared for the Great British weather, we will be providing a small number of deck chairs, but we do recommend you bring your own throne.

The Coronation ceremony timings are still to be confirmed so please remember to check back for confirmed timings.
