Redcar Running Festival – Early bird entries available

Runners who like a bargain are being reminded that early bird discounts are now available for this year’s Redcar Running Festival.

Sunday 29 September will see Redcar taken over by athletes for the legendary Half Marathon. The Half Marathon Wheelchair Race, 2km, 5km and 10km races will also take place during the action packed day.

Lesley Strickland, Head of Culture & Tourism for Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, said: “Elite athletes and fun runners all enjoy the Redcar Running Festival and the early bird discounts are a great way to secure your place and save a few pounds at the same time.”

Places on all races are allocated on a ‘first come-first served basis. Runners are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
