For five Christmases, the rooms of Ormesby Hall have been transformed into the magical worlds of some of our best-loved fairy tales. This year, A Fairy tale Christmas returns for one final chapter.
Each room invites you to wander through a different fairy tale realm. Feel the chill of The Snow Queen’s Realm, where glittering frost and icy elegance bring a sparkling stillness to the house, before tumbling into the curious charm of Alice’s Wonderland Tea Party, where nothing is quite as it seems and festive mischief fills the air. Then discover the enchantment beneath the waves in The Little Mermaid’s Underwater Kingdom and much more. With each room beautifully dressed to capture the spirit of these much-loved stories, this year’s Christmas experience invites visitors of all ages to explore, imagine and rediscover the magic of the season.
Stop by the second-hand bookshop for a winter read and enjoy seasonal food and hot drinks from the café (last orders at 3pm).
The decorated hall is open every Friday – Monday, from Friday 27 November until Wednesday 23 December, 10.30am – 4pm, with last entry to the house at 2.45pm and the closes at 3.30pm. Normal admission applies to visit Ormesby Hall, house, garden and café.
