The magical season of Christmas kicks off in spectacular style in Redcar Town Centre and we hope you will join us in what will be an evening of stunning visual displays, performance, music, lights and all-around joy! Inspired by ‘A Redcar Feast’
Following on from last year’s Illumination Parade, we’re bring a creative spectacle to the town of Redcar with representatives from schools and community groups throughout the borough.
Over 200 participants will throng the streets with artwork created with professional artists, including lanterns, costumes and exciting visual spectacles that will light up the route from the Civic Centre to Redcar Town.
The parade will also be decked with professional performers, with the sights, sounds and smells of everything festive whilst being entertained by outstanding musical artists.
The Illumination Parade will begin at 4pm from the Civic Centre, so wrap up warm and follow the crowds on a party!
And if that wasn’t enough, the stage will be full of entertainment and performance where the big button will be pressed by the Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland.
High Street Animation – 2pm
Main Stage Programme – 3pm
Illumination Parade – 4.15pm
