Welcome to Saltburn Valley Gardens
In the 18th century, the Saltburn Valley echoed to the nocturnal sounds of local smuggling gangs grateful for the network of tracks through the densely wooded gills.
Today, the valley gardens have lost none of their appeal. The colourful formal displays complement the steep grassy banks which are cut to support a rich diversity of wild flowers.
There are various circular walks available throughout the woods. Facilities on site include orienteering, a woodland centre, tea rooms, Italian gardens, Saltburn Miniature Railway (Apr-Oct) and a play area.
