We’re expecting Redcar Town Centre to be very busy so we will be running a park & ride scheme operating from Kirkleatham Showfield (adjacent to the walled garden). Return tickets start at £2 for adults and £1 for children. Outbound and return tickets must be booked separately.

Redcar Central train station is approximately 8 minutes walk to the Kite Festival site with direct trains running between Darlington and Saltburn (Northern Rail) and from Manchester (Transpennine Express).
Arriva buses to Redcar include X2/3 from Lingdale, X4/4A from Whitby to Middlesbrough, 64 Middlesbrough to Grangetown and 81 Guisborough to Marske.
Teesside International Airport is our closest airport whilst Newcastle International Airport is the regions largest airport.
