Passion, profit, purpose: connecting with business opportunities
15th March 2019 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Some exciting opportunities are set to emerge from the economic and commercial development of Redcar & Cleveland in the near future. The business response to this requires strong private-sector and local community focus. On one hand, Social enterprises passionately employ their keen focus on keeping money local and reinvesting their profits for the benefit of the communities they serve. Private businesses on the other, seek to add to their attractiveness by ‘giving back’ to society or their community in some way.
So, as a way of meeting the anticipated demands, this event offers a unique setting for social enterprises in Redcar & Cleveland to connect with private businesses, including larger not-for-profits from different sectors. By working together, they can get more involved in the local community (directly or indirectly) with a promising outcome of attracting more people to live, work or play in the borough.
