ASSIST: Hartlepool

18th March 2020 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

It is the ASSIST HARTLEPOOL, with host Gill.

Come and meet the Assist for some informal networking.

This one is relaxed, no formalities, no business card pushing, just good business conversation. We naturally share ideas, experience and vision that could lead to potential growth for you or your business. Women activily share positive solid business contacts, the North East is not a big place! Assist champion’s the idea Women Support Women #WSW, yes we breath, work, eat, sleep, repeat this!

Why come along…

Our informal morning gatherings are a chance to take time away from your desk, perhaps from the isolation of homeworking or the need to collect your thoughts and bounce ideas with other business owners taking time out of the a busy bustling office. On a positive note you meet other businesswomen and can ‘talk business’, may be you are looking for new contracts or need a product or service and looking for some recomendations, we like to encourage the ‘trade local’ ideology.

Why not use this time to arrange a short first meeting with someone over a coffee? You will have the added benefit of you both using your time to also meet other potential leads. You could make this your monthly business ‘time out’ and use this space as a sounding board as you build your trusting relationships across the Tees Valley.

What to expect…

We want to hear about you, your business and the products and services you offer. Are you launching a new service, looking for new customers, got a huge event to promote or want to share with us some new ingredients in your handmade products? Come tell us about it we genuinely want to know and are keen to help share your news.

You may want to just chat about ‘working on’ your business and just need a second opinion or some objective critical thinking, a conversation outside your office could be the way forward. We may not have all the answers but talking with other business owners who may have ‘been there & done it’ could help you find a sutiable solution. In return all we ask is you give your fellow Assist’ers the same consideration ‘what goes around comes around’.

We are all supporters of ‘Women in Business’ be part of it.

When…

Drop in for only hour or less if you just squeezing a coffee break in, we are simply creating a space for you to informally meet other businesswomen on a regular basis or as a one-off. We do allow a little time for very quick introductions, therefore if you come later you may miss these, but don’t worry there is plenty of chair swapping to give you the opportunity to have one-to-one chats.

Cost to you…

We don’t charge for this form of networking like other organisations, in actual fact we are grateful to Waltons, Clark Whitehill who is sponsoring this event, they will provide tea and coffee, of which we give huge thanks for. We will be waiting to meet you along with other local businesswomen that may drop in.

You don’t even need a business card! People buy people!

Find out more…

Assist is more than just networking, we collaborate with many organisations, projects and campaigns on a local and national level, we are all volunteers with the same aim to make the North East a better place for businesswomen and our young females to grow up in.

What to do now…

Register to let us know you are coming. If you are undecided or juggling time on the day feel free to turn up that morning. Come and find out more about us, what benefits you be an Assist’er.

New members and old friends are very welcome, we have much more to tell you about what Assist does!

Remember telling us you will be there helps us to reserve enough seats and most importantly we will be watching for you! Come and meet Gill and the Assist team….
