Tees Business LIVE: September 2024

September 12 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Excerpt

“Delegates can trace the footsteps of The Beatles if they sign up for September’s Tees Business Live event at The Globe in Stockton. Lennon, McCartney, Starr and Harrison performed at The Globe Theatre on November 22 1963 – the same day president John F Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas. The Globe reopened three years ago following a stunning renovation and will play host to Tees Business Live on September 12.

Sponsored by Analox, Teesside-based leaders in the research, development and manufacturing of gas sensing solutions, the event will include networking over refreshments before formalities begin.

While there’ll be updates from Tees Business and Analox, in a break from the usual format, there’ll then be a short chat with former Middlesbrough mayor Andy Preston.

A Q&A with local business leaders will feature Alison McGee (Durata), Elaine McLaine-Wood (Punch Robson Solicitors) and Anne Cowley (Baines Jewitt Chartered Accountants).

For those who wish to take part, it’s also hoped there’ll also be an opportunity to enjoy a short tour of the Grade II-listed, Art Deco theatre, which was famed for hosting not only The Beatles, but The Rolling Stones, Buddy Holly, Tina Turner and Morecambe and Wise.

Networking starts at 10.30am with formalities getting underway at 11.30am, with the event due to end around 1pm.

There is no maximum for Tees Business clients but a maximum of two representatives of non-clients can sign up for this free-to-attend event.”
