‘Huge investment’ and 150 jobs possible as green steel firm considers new Teesside plant

A new steel pellet plant could be coming to Teesside bringing “huge investment” and 150 jobs.

Green steel producer, Blastr, has announced they have chosen Redcar Bulk Terminal port as a potential location for a new pellet plant. If plans go ahead, the Teesside factory will be used for converting iron ore pellet feed into direct reduction pellets.
