2025 Pharma Manufacturing Conference

May 7 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Excerpt from webpage

The Northern Powerhouse plays a vital role in Pharma Manufacturing

The North of England is a key player in the life sciences sector, and investment is continuing to grow. Home to 21% of the UK’s total life sciences workforce and with the Northeast producing 33% of UK GDP in pharmaceutical manufacturing and 31% of contract research organisations based in the Northwest, the North of England’s life science sector is worth more than £13.6bn.

Bionow’s Pharma Manufacturing conference will bring together industry, academic and regulatory experts to share their experiences and expertise through talks, panel discussions, exhibitions and networking to identify challenges and opportunities in the industry.

The life sciences industry requires a collaborative approach

The sector continues to face challenges, whether attracting the right talent, managing increasing costs, adopting ethical practices, investing in new technologies or supply chain disruption. There are also many opportunities to grow, including access to funding at local and national levels, working collaboratively across industry, academia and the public sector, developing more sustainable manufacturing practices and utilising developments in new therapies to streamline routes to market.

Get involved at Pharma Manufacturing 2025 as we highlight and celebrate the North’s world-class manufacturing sector.”
