Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Conference

June 24 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Redcar & Cleveland Council are holding an ‘Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Conference’ on Friday 24 June (10am to 3pm) at Kirkleatham Walled Garden, and Redcar and Cleveland businesses are invited to attend. The aim of the conference is to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion throughout Redcar and Cleveland and to consider what can be done collectively to further benefit local communities.

Organisers would like to involve local businesses in shaping the conference and ask:

  • Which agencies or organisations would you like to see represented so you can find out more about what they do?
  • Would you be willing to share what your organisation / group does for the benefit of communities; this could possibly be via a mini workshop / market stall?
  • Are there any speakers you would like to hear from?

As well as providing information to attendees via speakers and presentations, organisers also aim to have networking opportunities, performances and workshops throughout the day.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP, along with any suggestions to the above questions, to Lauren Shevlinlauren.shevlin@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk

Please be mindful that whilst the postcode for the Kirkleatham Walled Garden is TS10 4QT, the premises are a new development so if you are using a Satnav, your Satnav may send you to the other side of the Garden.
